KAT-TUN held a special LINE LIVE event for their anniversary. It lasted for 8 minutes at 11 pm on March 19th to reveal the three members after their changing period. They’ll be releasing their first single since thing called ‘Ask Yourself,’ as well as holding a Tokyo Dome performance from April 20th-22nd. The members are Nakamaru Yuichi, Ueda Tatsuya and Kamenashi Kazuya. Congratulations, we wish you success!
Kyary Pamyu Pamyu is releasing a new single, ‘Kimi no Mikata’ on April 11th, which is well over a year since her last release, ‘Easta.’ The song has been produced by Yasutaka Nakata. It was presented to Kyary on her birthday as a gift at the event, ‘Asobinite!!!! ~ Kyary pamyu pamyu birthday special~’ held in January when she turned 25.
The single is a shift from her trademark kawaii, or ‘cute’ to a more mature, glamour visual, with the theme. She’s also embarking on her fourth world tour, bringing the Japanese haunted mansion theme from her Halloween event ‘the spooky obakeyashiki – pumpkin strike back-’ last year.
The tour has two stops in London, two stops in Germany and three stops in the US. Of course no stops that I can attend, so I’m super sad, but good luck to everyone else!
V6’s Go Morita and actress Rie Miyazawa have officially registered their marriage. Morita is the fourth member of the group to get married. The marriage was announced through a report sent to the fanclub members, who tweeted about the letters. The couple also tweeted an official statement. They stated, ‘From here on, we would like to support and motivate each other as a family, while spending an enriching time together with care.’
According to Modelpress, Japanese netizens seem happy about the marriage and the fans are very pleased about all the members’ wives. If only all our fandoms could be this supportive. Congratulations to the happy couple!
Super Junior have released their first teaser and the date for their repackage album. Since it’s the repackage for ‘Play,’ it will be titled ‘Replay,’ The title track will be unlike anything they’ve tackled before according to Soompi. ‘Replay’ will be released on April 12th at 6pm KST
Pentagon will be making a comeback! On the 21st of March KST, they shared the first teaser for their upcoming comeback, their release, ‘Positive,’ is a mini album and it will be released on April 2nd at 6 pm KST.
Kim So Yeon is considering a role in an upcoming drama called ‘Secret Mother,’ a mystery-thriller drama according to her agency Namoo Actors. If she accepts the role, it will be her first in two years since her role on MBC’s ‘Happy Home’ since getting married to Lee Sang Woo in June 2017 (congrats by the way).
Song Yoon Ah is also in talks to star in the drama. It doesn’t say they’re competing for the role, so they may be co-starring if she accepts.
‘Secret Mother’ is set to air in May following the end of ‘The Good Witch.’
