I found this on the sidebar this morning and decided to give them a go. Did not disappoint.
SNH48 are AKB48‘s Chinese sister group that was formed in 2012 and currently has 102 members as of February 3rd. They have about five teams and 14 inactive members.
7SENSES is one of several sub-unit of the larger group SNH48 as well as Color Girls and ElectroEyes Girls. They were formed in March of 2016, but this single came out on April 26th, 2017. They also have Chinese sister groups, BEJ48 (Beijing) and GNZ48 (Guangzhou).
In June of 2016, through some murky violations/transitions/etc, SNH48 made the move to be independent of AKB48.
In July, their third sister group, SHY48 (Shenyang) was announced.
On January 27, 2017, some members performed on the CCTV New Year’s Gala 2017 as backup dancers during a segment with Coco Lee and JJ Lin. This was their first performance at a major event to date.
On June 2, 2017, Star48 held the launching ceremony for SNH48’s fourth General Election, in which a sister group, CKG48, (Chongqing) was announced.
On September 25, 2017 during a meeting with several companies in Qingyang District, Chengdu, 11 Star48 projects were signed, and Wang Zijie announced that a fifth sister group, CGT48, is in the making. However, they have not yet made their debut.
As for 7SENSES and the song I’m going to show you, they’ve had three releases. Two mini albums and one non album release. the non album release is the ‘7SENSES’ song I’m going to show you, the other two are ‘Girl Crush’ from ‘Seven Sen7es’ and ‘Like A Diamond’ from ‘Chapter:Blooming.’ All songs were released throughout 2017.
