Baby Metal wins best japan act at the MTV EMAs this year
Namie Amuro’s album “Finally” has sold over 1 million copios in under a week hitting 1 million at the six day mark, setting a new record for Japanese artists, beating Utada Hikaru after 13 years with her album, “Utada Hikaru Single Collection Vol. 1” in 2004.
This isn’t her only feat selling into the millions however. This is her second album to sell over a million copies in a week, her second studio album “Sweet 19 Blues” also hit 1 million, and she is the ONLY artist to sell million selling albums in her teens, 20’s, 30’s, and 40’s.

BTS are in LA as we speak for the beginning of the US promotions, beginning with their performance at the American Music Awards, and they will also be appearing on Ellen and Jimmy Kimmel.
