Holy shit. I’ve been around for five years on the blog-sphere. How time flies y’all. Thanks for sticking around.
This year was full of experiences, new and wonderful, meeting old friends for the first time and plenty of concert and vacation happenings.
I haven’t done any interviews or collaborations this year. The reason for that is until April, I was still very much in school and it was just getting harder and it left damn near for no time but anything aside from work and school.
I’ve taken a break, hence the rise in activity.
However, a couple of major things did happen. I started making more videos for my YouTube channel, and now I do unboxings every month of albums and SnackFever. I have my own radio show called “What the Bop?!” thanks to a push from my friend Leigh, which I very much enjoy.
I’ve been to one KCON, with my very best friends, and even though I haven’t finished recounting it it was very much amazeballs. I got to see the artists I wanted in my audience pass experience (Highlight and G-Friend) and we all screamed and cried when Highlight started singing B2st songs. It was amazing.
Seeing KARD for the first time was amazing, and it’s an experience I won’t forget. It was my first time in Chicago outside of the airport, and it was amazing. Exploring Chinatown was great, aside from my bathroom dilemma.
Even though my Cali trip had weird pit falls, it was an overall great experience and I can’t wait to go back (hopefully in time for KCON, cross your fingers) but it was a great time doing new things and experiencing new things with old friends. Not getting my phone stolen, but everything else.
Then I saw G-Dragon and it was such a whirlwind to be back in Chicago with my other friends. Some I’d met before, some I hadn’t but it was an amazing time once we got out of line.
After that was my last concert for 2017, KARD in Minneapolis where I met my friend Sam for the first time in person. It was a short trip, but it was an amazing time. We made new friends and had a great time.
Even though this year was tougher than most, it’s taught me a lot of things and it’s made me think a lot harder about myself as a person, in my career and in all aspects to be honest. And thank you all for being there for me.
Let’s go for another year!
Thank you,
-Karen
