I have a migraine so I’m going to leave you with something short and sweet today.
This is Mya‘s “Case of The Ex (Watchu Gonna Do),” which was one of my favorite songs as a kid. I listened to this song when it came out on “Now That’s What I Call Music 5” all the time.
I finally found the music video recently while on a US Pop throwback binge, and I love it now just as much as I did then.
And just to put this into perspective: I was 8 when this song was lit.
EIGHT. AND IT WAS ONE OF MY JAMS, I HAD NO IDEA WHAT IT MEANT.
All I knew was that it sounded good. lol One day, I shall tell you about one of my favorite Shaggy songs. But that is for another day.
This was originally released back in 2000 on her third album, “Fear of Flying” through Interscope Records.
