I just found this group, and they are SOOOO wonderful.
The Barberettes are a three member doo wop group consisting of members Shinae An Wheeler, Sunnie Lee, and So Hee Park.
They’ve been together since 2012 (I heard there was a past member and Sunnie is her replacement, but I can’t remember her name) but debuted in 2014 with their album, “The Barberettes Vol. 1.”
They have several albums and singles released, most notably their recent (as of today) single, “Lonesome Christmas” and my favorite, their cover of The Ronettes‘ “Be My Baby.”
WHICH I SWEAR WAS COVERED BY AN AMERICAN DD WOP BOY BAND BUT I CAN’T REMEMBER.
Sorry, had to get that out of my system. By the way, never mind. it wasn’t a cover, just a similar sounding song. The Beach Boys‘ “Don’t Worry Baby” to be more specific.
