Random Music Monday: Yuko Wantanabe

Long story short, a couple of traditional Japanese instrumentalists got together and made a cover of Michael Jackson‘s “Smooth Criminal.”

It is the bomb.

The shakuhachi (the wind instrument) player is Yuko Wantanabe. The two other women (couldn’t find their names) are playing the koto, which is a Japanese instrument similar to the Korean gayaguem.
