Wow. Has it been three years already? As I sit here, I remember sitting in the activity center of my local college, when I first decided to start running a blog.
I didn’t really know what I was doing, and I hadn’t even fathomed what I was going to write about. What made me tick? What did I want to share.
And then of course, it came to me: K-Pop. But I also liked J-Pop, so I couldn’t just leave it out. But then there was so much else I could share, the possibilities were endless.
So I couldn’t just go for any old typical asian pop blog name. I had to think of something unique, but you know that, don’t you?
Read here, and my FAQ for more details on that.
I’ve been thinking about what I could do to celebrate my 3rd blog anniversary. The person who usually makes my backgrounds isn’t taking requests right now, and I really don’t have any ideas. I already bought my url.
Well, let’s take a look back at 2015.
I went to KCON by myself, and had plenty of interesting experiences. It didn’t go how I expected it to, but in the end, I enjoyed myself, and do indeed planning on going again, and well prepared at that.
I saw DANNY FRICKEN IM up close, and oh my god, if I had the lady balls I’d have asked for a picture. And Masta Wu. I wanted to cry.
I met Shin.B and Timothy again, it was so nice to see you guys.
Thank you to 4TE and Core Magazine, it was a pleasure interviewing you guys!
Thank you to my readers, who inspire me to keep going and sharing my love of, well everything with you. Seeing that you guys enjoy what I write really does help when I get down and don’t feel like writing.
You’re reactions give me the motivation to keep going and doing what I love.
So thank you, for these past three years, and to many more.
Thank you,
-Karen
