So, AngerMe made a comeback, and I’d love to share my thoughts on their recently released music videos for their latest joint single, “出すぎた杭は打たれない (The Nail That Sticks Out Too Much Does Not Get Hammered Down)/ドンデンガエシ(A Complete Turnover)” with you.
However…
You’d think they’d want my views, right? However, this is not the case.
The AngerMe videos are now BLOCKED, and I cannot review them or the songs. Ever again.

Their single will be released on November 11th, and contains three tracks along with corresponding instrumentals. The other song that I assume we are waiting on a music video for is titled, “わたし.”
They are also releasing a compilation album titled, “S/mileage / ANGERME SELECTION ALBUM.” This doesn’t have a set tracklist as of yet, but the release date is November 25th.

So, I was literally about to give up and pout, publishing this sad little article, but then I remembered dailymotion! You can watch their videos here (Nail) and here (Turnover)!
The first video (Nail) has the girls rocking out in a warehouse in glittery outfits to a heavy rock anthem. I really love the guitar in this song, even if it threw me for a loop.
I have no idea what I was expecting to be honest.
The second video (Turnover) features the group standing in front of giant cubes on a stage in the sky.
I personally prefer “A Complete Turnover” overall. I kinda..what’s the word I’m looking for…relate. I can relate to the lyrics. It also sounds like a bomb ass RPG OST.
