Friday Flicks: The Scholar Who Walks The Night

So I haven’t watched any new dramas or animes lately, mostly because of personal issues clouding my thoughts and I’m still trying to get back on track.

I have a band interview coming up (yay!) so look forward to that. However, that is not what this post is for. So, let’s get to that drama, shall we?

The Scholar Who Walks The Night” has been on my Facebook feed for quite some time, and literally, only because Shim Changmin from TVXQ is in it.

HOWEVER…there are vampires. I am now intrigued. And shall watch. EVENTUALLY!

Because right now my life is topsy turvy, once everything settles down I can get back into regularly watching dramas and anime.

Title: The Scholar Who Walks The Night (밤을 걷는 선비)

Year: 2015

Country of Origin: South Korea

Synopsis: When Jo Yang Sun (Lee Yoo Bi) is driven out of house and home after her father is framed for a crime, she is forced to cross-dress in order to make ends meet as a bookseller, where she meets Kim Sung Yeol (Lee Joon Ki), a handsome, but mysterious scholar who is actually a vampire.

Meanwhile, an evil presence at the royal palace stops at nothing to keep the Crown Prince (Shim Changmin) from claiming his rightful throne.

I don’t know why they threw in palace drama when the main premise is a cross dressing girl’s encounter with a vampire while she tries to get ber family out of debt, but whatevs. Maybe because it’s a period drama?

*shrugs.

Watch it on DramaFever now!
