Late…UGH! but here it is, since I’m trying to stay on top of things. Usually, I try to switch between Korean and Japanese Indie, but I really wanted to share a few songs that I heard at KCON…and one I didn’t.
But if you’ve read my blog before, you might recognize the other group.
Core Magazine
Started out in 2012, and recently, performed at KCON 2015! They performed an original song as well as two K-Pop covers and they sound great!
After they performed on the main stage at the con, they even performed on the concert stage at the Staples Center! WHOO!
They’ve released a mini album called “Peep” back in 2012, and recently released their first full length album, “Rude Banquet” back in July of this year.
Today I can show you the videos I took at KCON. I LOST the fucking Taeyang “Eyes Nose Lips” cover (CURSES VEHEMENTLY) but I have their cover of “By My Baby” by Wonder Girls and their original song, but I can’t remember the name of it right now.
“However, I found this fancam of “Eyes, Nose, Lips,” and you can clearly see him pointing in my direction. I don’t know if it was at me, but it was in our direction.
I’m fangirling, I know.
Their album isn’t up on iTunes, but I found a few singles, so look here!

Next up is SHIN.B! She hosted a lot of the fan engagements I attended in KCON, and even performed on the con stage herself, but my iPod storage ran out before I was able to film!
So, I’m going to take her dance practice video for her latest single, “Fire Drill,” which she taught the basic choreo to the audience that day (Stop, drop and roll, choreo).
The dance was choreographed by Aimee Lee Lucas, who works at YG, and the song was produced by DLP, who has worked with Will.i.am and Pitbull.
Ri, the girl I had hung out with during the live con performances that day was a big fan and knew her pretty well, so I joined her after the performance and we both took a pic with SHIN.B. She’s so cute in person.
Like “Fire Drill?” well, it’s not on iTunes yet.

And last but not least is the return of EE (Total Art) with “겅덩송 / (g)(u)(n)(g)(d)(u)(n)(g)(s)(o)(n)(g).”
While this isn’t my favorite release from the group, watching them do weird shit they enjoy is just great, and I’m glad that they’re so unique and obviously loving what they do.
It may not be my favorite release, but what about you? Check it out and tell me what you think:
This is from the mini album by the same name, and it will be released on October 8th, 2015!
