J-Indie Picks 11.25.14

It’s late, but I think you’ll like this week’s selection.

LOKA are a great band, and the lead singer’s English is superb in their single, “EDEN” for their 2nd album, “Quattro,” released back in September.

Well if a song were to drive me bat-shit crazy…this might be the one. The instrumental is a rock fan’s dream. However, if I hear “KIRAI” after today, I will punch someone. With a chair. Made of splintered wood. Damn you, The Oral Cigarettes. This was released back in November on their album, “The BKW Show.”

Because GLIM SPANKY is one of the oddest names I could possibly happen upon, of course I clicked on it. All this angst and throwback vibes that they’re throwing at me. I love it. This is “Move Over” from back in November, but is now available on iTunes(J)!

Last but not least let’s hit up NACANO for “Sing Along” from their latest album, “Gastronomy,” which they released back in October. It’s pretty chill as a whole. The vocals have this sense of urgency while the instrumental just flows through. It’s pretty cool.
