FREAK are an R&B vocal group from Japan. They were formed in 2012 by Satoru and Yuki, who attended the same vocal school. They were soon joined by Yuki’s twin brother Genki, they formed the group and named it, ‘FREAK.’
In December of that year, they became a foursome with the addition of member Daichi.
Before debut, they performed in various live houses and clubs. They have a funky, R&B vibe with throwback to the 1990’s. They released their debut single, “Movin On” on December 20th, 2013. Even though at first the record didn’t sell too wellat first, they were able to sell out at their solo performance on March 27th, 2014.
They released their mini album, “No Turning Back” on July, 30th, 2014. It contains their debut tracks, “Movin On” and “Special Lady,” as well as 5 other tracks including their latest title single, “Go Ahead.”
