J-Indie Picks 10.14.14 Hide and Seek Edition

And what I mean by that is, sometimes I log into Twitter and realize I have new followers. Some of those new followers happen to be bands. What some bands do is they’ll follow me and if I follow them back, they’ll unfollow me.

I ain’t into that. So if I FIND YOU, I’ll follow you. If YOU find ME, there is a chance that I might feature you on my website.

If we are mutual follows, coolies, nice to meet you, I like your music, I’m glad you appreciate and support my efforts to promote you, cuz I think you’re cool.

So just to clarify, these are bands that either follow me, or we are mutual follows.

Fuck YouTube, I ain’t even gonna try today.

First up is BFTS, aka Betray for the Scarlet. They are a metal screamo band. This is from their “Affection” mini album. It’s a trailer. There are three songs, “Against,” “Alteration,” and “Saying.”

This is POT‘s latest single, “Don’t Be Shy” from their first album, “ARCO IRIS.” This is a great song, and the music video has a great message about self confidence.
