DIVA Releases Music Video For Last Single

DIVA, a sub unit of ever popular Japanese idol group, AKB48, are disbanding. This will be their final single, “Discovery,” to be released on October 8th. The B-Side, “Believe In Myself” will also be on the single.

I’m not a fan of AKB48, and the song is ok. The music video is piss poor on a story line, but damn are those solo space graphics great. Too bad you can’t pull an LDH or Namie Amuro on me and put out a non generic mv.

I’m sorry, but that’ really bugs me about Japan’s idol culture. There’s no variety, really. Music videos go: solo shots, dancing, some snazzy graphics, end.

Sometimes it works, a lot of times, I’m left bored. /sorrynotsorry/ and I don’t like AKB48 because their sound is bland. /alsosorrynotsorry/ it’s not that I don’t like the girls, I’m sure they’re lovely people, I’m just not a big fan of the group.

This is my first, and coincidentally my last time that I will be hearing of DIVA.

Good luck, ladies! I wish you success in your future endeavors.

Like DIVA? they’re disbanding, but I’ll leave their stuff here.
