I was totally late for this too, but EXID, my favorite rookies of 2012 have made a comeback with the single, “Up and Down.” Don’t get this confused with their 2013 single of the same title for the OST of “Incarnation of Money.”

Was I excited? Yes. Did I expect this? No. Did I like it? Hell yeah. The music video is a bit weirder than other EXID music videos, and a little less…angsty? But I liked it. It’s weird in a good way. And I LOVE the sax in it. LE‘s rapping was amazing, and the chorus is very catchy. I don’t think the sexy choreography is EXID’s thing, but that aside, it’s a great single.
They’ve recently switched to Yedang Entertainment, and their new producer is Shinsadong Tiger, which would account for the new sound.
